Following the political transition in Hungary, Éva Horváth Virágh and Endre Virágh founded FORT Kft in Budapest.

Ceiling Doctor Franchise acquisition

We purchased the Ceiling Doctor surface cleaning and chemical cleaning system, along with the Hungarian franchise rights.
The two founders acquired the Ceiling Pro system in Canada and began surface cleaning in Hungary—at a time when there wasn’t even a Hungarian term for this activity. The company had four employees.

LRI – Our first major facility cleaning project

We carried out surface cleaning at the former Ferihegy Airport (now Liszt Ferenc International Airport), including external facades, suspended ceilings, floors, vertical blinds, sunshades, and the control tower.

Suoftec Kft, Tatabánya – Our first major industrial cleaning project

We carried out comprehensive cleaning at an industrial facility, including internal sandwich panels, structural elements, paint booths, hangers, flooring, staircases, and platforms.

This project marked the beginning of our use of sandblasting technology, representing a significant step towards chemical-free cleaning solutions.

Daily cleaning and industrial maintenance of the KÖFÉM Large-Scale industrial facility

This was our first major daily cleaning project in a large industrial environment, marking an important milestone in our operational history.

This was our first daily cleaning project in a large office building, complemented by exterior façade washing.

Acquisition of dry ice blasting equipment

From this point onward, we began regularly using dry ice cleaning technology, an excellent alternative to chemical-based cleaning methods.

Acquisition of surface cleaning equipment using osmosis water and carbon poles with brushes – imported from the Netherlands

During a holiday, we noticed a contractor cleaning the exterior façade of a house using a small trailer-mounted system. By the time we walked back along the main street, the façade was already clean and dry, and the colleague was packing up the equipment. The entire process took no more than two hours.
The introduction of osmosis water technology further reduced the use of chemical cleaning agents in our operations.

Acquisition of soda blasting equipment

The soda blasting system represents another environmentally conscious alternative for high-power cleaning tasks.

Acquisition of equipment for polishing natural stone surfaces

From this point onward, we gained a new solution for cleaning and restoring stone surfaces.

Mosmatic – High-pressure water cleaning equipment

This equipment allows us to clean larger areas more efficiently using high-pressure water technology.

Acquisition of ultrasonic cleaning equipment

This addition expanded our range of services with yet another environmentally friendly cleaning technology.

Closed-system abrasive blasting equipment

With the introduction of closed-system blasting, we gained the ability to reuse spent abrasive materials, preventing them from being released into the environment or nature.

The diverse cleaning of one of Hungary’s and Europe’s most renowned cultural institutions has become one of the cornerstones of our operations.

Laser cleaning equipment

Our managing director, Péter Sági, recognized the potential of this technology. After extensive research, we discovered the equipment developed by the Czech company NARRAN. As a result, our company acquired this innovative and versatile cleaning solution.

Comprehensive façade cleaning, restoration, structural repair, and decorative element maintenance

For the first time in our company’s history, we carried out a large-scale and complex project in which we were responsible for the complete exterior renovation of a building complex — from organizing the scaffolding and abrasive façade cleaning to the restoration and replacement of damaged stucco elements.

During the 2020 pandemic, we carried out disinfection services in social institutions across Hungary.
