Carpet and upholstery cleaning is a specialist cleaning service for fitted carpets, carpet tiles, upholstered seating, upholstered chairs, wall textiles and other textile surfaces, carried out both on-site and, where suitable, in our own workshop. The aim is to restore heavily used, stained or soiled textile surfaces to a cleaner, fresher and more presentable condition.

The appropriate cleaning technology is always selected according to the material and condition of the textile, the level of contamination, the environment in which it is used and the type of staining. Depending on the customer’s requirements and the surface, we may use chemical cleaning, steam cleaning or dry ice cleaning.

During cleaning, we remove general contamination from everyday use, accumulated dust, food and drink stains, and we can also treat chewing gum embedded in textile surfaces using targeted spot cleaning. On larger areas and in high-traffic environments, the work is scheduled around the operation, opening hours or working schedule of the site.

After cleaning, sufficient drying time must be allowed before the surface is returned to full use. The exact drying time depends on the cleaning technology, textile material, level of contamination, room temperature and ventilation.

Drying time depends on the material and thickness of the textile, the cleaning technology, room temperature and ventilation. The surface should only be returned to full use once it has dried sufficiently, so it is advisable to schedule the work for a period when use of the area can be restricted temporarily.

Can every stain be completely removed from carpets or upholstery?

Not every stain can be removed completely. The result depends on the type and age of the stain, any previous cleaning attempts, and the material and colour of the textile. With older, deeply absorbed or previously set stains, significant fading may be possible, but complete removal cannot always be guaranteed.

What should be prepared before carpet or upholstery cleaning?

Before work begins, the surfaces to be cleaned should be made accessible, and smaller movable items should be removed where possible. For larger office, hotel or institutional areas, the required preparation is agreed according to the site conditions and work schedule. Where practical, certain items can also be cleaned in our own workshop.

In busy offices, hospitality venues, institutions and communal areas, it is often advisable to schedule cleaning after closing, at weekends or during an agreed time window. This also makes the required drying time easier to manage and helps minimise disruption to normal operations.
