Closed-loop abrasive blasting

Closed-loop abrasive blasting is a chemical-free surface cleaning and surface preparation technology in which cleaning is carried out within a controlled, enclosed working system using equipment optimised for the specific task. Different blasting media are used to remove paint, coatings, rust, adhesive residues, dust and other stubborn surface contaminants.

The key feature of the technology is that abrasive blasting takes place within a closed system where the blasting medium can be collected and, where suitable, reused. This allows for greater control over the cleaning process, more efficient handling of the blasting media and reduced impact on the surrounding environment.
